The goal of poker players is to build up a “pot”, which is the amount of chips that they are betting on the outcome of the game. The poker player may get all their chips into the pot, but if their opponent bets out, then the poker player will have to swallow their chips. The two players flip a coin and whoever has the most chips at the end of the turn wins the pot. Sometimes the chips are re-shuffled, but this is not always the case.
